Laura Linney
Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim because of her portrayal of powerful yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into theater-related families, her father, Romulus Linney being a playwright. She graduated in 1986 in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at Arts Theatre School Moscow before receiving her diploma from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her initial destination in 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim from her role on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
