Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
