Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5 in 1971) was the oldest among seven children who were raised by her parents at their property situated in New Franklin Missouri. Sara has always been a fan of music and started singing in her home with her family around the age of five. In the nightclub in Columbia Missouri, she started singing when she was just at the age of 16. The show lasted two years. Then she moved into Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with the intention to become a country singer. Sara was a singer at County Q Studios a version of Tiger By the Tail that was written by Harlan Howard. Harlan Howard thought she would be able to sing the song. The singer signed a deal with RCA. In 1997, Evans made her debut record Three Chords and the Truth. It was praised by critics for returning to the traditional style of country music and appeared on many lists of top ten albums of the year.
