Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) is a former American actor. Beginning her professional career as a child actor as well as a model, Elson is probably best-known for her TV roles in the role of Alice Tyler on the CBS science fiction series . Andrea won the role of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. The actress was a regular in various TV series and Movies of the week before she decided to leave the world of entertainment. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenage daughter Kate and Willie - at a time in which she went through a rough time. People magazine released a retrospective of her career in 2000. Elson said growing up as a girl with a spotlight wasn't easy. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson was raised within the world of traveling because her father was a travelling salesman. By the time she was 10 years old, Andrea had already been in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea found an agent in San Diego and won her audition to play the role she wanted for her debut. Fusco was in favor of the idea saying, "ALF can drink beer since he's older than 285." ALF was getting more well-known among kids and so NBC advised Fusco that he couldn't drink alcohol because children were watching. ALF is not a good example to follow. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF did not have the maturity required to drink and drive, was mistaken. In 1995 Fusco was diagnosed lymphoma. This was successfully managed and his condition remained stable until 2019. In the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey on Friday 26th June 2019, he passed away due to this condition at age 75.
