Paula Patton, an American actor and producer, is known for her roles as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) as well as Precious (a drama). Born into a middle-class family in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that was a gift from her mother who was also a fan of movies. Paula was a participant in co-curricular programs at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. Her classmates and she played together as well as participated in school productions. After performing in a variety of performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her career. She went to in the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. She won a PBS three-month project to film documentary films. Her first job was as a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her task. When she was done with her work then she began putting together documentary films. While she was awed by what she did however, she always wanted being an actor. She started her acting career through a tiny role in the film romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. In the years since she's been in a variety of films and television shows.
