Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is child of a Briton as well as an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. In the month of November, 1999 Anna moved to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually shifting in Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011 the couple renew their vows in the traditional Jewish ceremony.
