
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress and film actor. She lived from January 31st, 1937 to January 19 2008. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and was a part of films in the late 1950s. She then appeared in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish and children of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage director in both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
