KingBennett joined Durk's Only the Family record label in the wake of his collaborations. The stage name he adopted was King Von, he subsequently made his debut as a professional musician with the release of his debut single "Crazy Story," which was released in December of 2018. The track peaked at 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 32 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It gained many millions of hits on YouTube. The song was released in May 2019. Von dropped "Crazy Story 2.0" which was a sequel to the song. The sequelthat features Lil Durk is a remix to the original. In September, Crazy Story 3.0 was released as a remix/sequel.
